About Trettle
See the work first. Then hire the person behind it.
Trettle is a visual marketplace for local services in India. Homeowners and businesses discover interior designers, architects, wedding photographers, event decorators, car detailers and 3D/CAD freelancers through real project portfolios with real budgets — then post a project for free, compare proposals and hire.
Why we started Trettle
Hiring someone to work on your home, your wedding or your business is a big decision. Yet the usual ways of finding help leave you guessing.
Blind directories
Most listings show a name, a phone number and a star rating. You cannot see what the person has actually built, designed or shot before you call them.
Phone-number brokers
Lead sellers pass your number to a long list of strangers, and middlemen add their margin on top. You end up fielding calls instead of comparing work.
No proof of work
Stock photos and borrowed images make every portfolio look the same. Without real budgets you cannot tell whether a quote for your kitchen is fair.
Our approach
Proof of work, not promises
We built Trettle around the one thing that tells you the most about a professional: the work they have already delivered.
Visual portfolios with real budgets
Every project shows the finished work alongside what it cost, the materials used and how long it took, so you can judge quality and price together.
Verified professionals
Professionals go through identity and business checks, and their portfolios are reviewed before they earn a verified badge.
Post your project for free
Describe what you need, your budget range and timeline. Interested professionals in your city respond to you — your number is not sold to anyone.
Compare proposals, then hire
Review detailed proposals side by side, chat directly with the people who will do the work, and choose the one that fits.
Who Trettle is for
Homeowners and businesses
Planning a new home interior, a renovation, a wedding, a launch event, a car makeover or a set of architectural drawings? Browse finished projects in your city, shortlist the people whose work you love and get proposals you can actually compare.
Local professionals and studios
Designers, architects, photographers, decorators, detailers, craftspeople and freelancers who would rather win clients on the strength of their work than through brokers. Build a portfolio, receive project requests in your city and send proposals directly.
What we value
Three ideas guide the decisions we make about the product and the community.
Transparency
Real budgets, clear scopes and itemised proposals. No hidden middlemen between you and the professional.
Craft
We put the work first. Good carpentry, thoughtful design and beautiful photographs should speak for themselves.
Trust
Verification, genuine reviews and clear community standards help both sides hire and work with confidence.
