Who can join Trettle as a professional?
Independent professionals, studios and small firms offering local services — interior designers, architects, wedding and event photographers, decorators, car detailers, craftspeople and 3D/CAD freelancers, among others. You should have completed work you can show and be legally able to offer your services in India.
What do I need to get verified?
We ask for proof of identity and, where applicable, business details such as a GST registration or shop establishment certificate. We also review your portfolio to check that the projects are your own work. Your documents are used for verification and handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Can I upload projects I completed before joining?
Yes. Past projects are exactly what clients want to see. Only upload work you (or your team) actually delivered, and make sure you have the right to share the photos — and the client’s permission where their home or event is identifiable.
How do I receive project requests?
When a client posts a project in a category and city you serve, you can view the brief and send a proposal. Clients can also find you through your portfolio and contact you directly.
Do I have to stay on the platform to talk to clients?
We recommend keeping conversations and agreed scopes in Trettle chat. It gives both you and the client a clear written record if there is ever a disagreement, and helps us support you if something goes wrong.
Who sets my prices and terms?
You do. Trettle connects you with clients; the agreement for the work is between you and your client. We encourage written scopes, clear milestones and honest timelines.
